Lorna Inman an Immersive Experience Designer based in the United Kingdom. Blending storytelling with cutting-edge technology, she crafts compelling narratives across hybrid digital-physical experiences. Her expertise spans digital design, video, animation, 3D spatial design, and experiential design.
Lorna has led the creation of two award-winning immersive short movies, Girmit (2021) and Transit of Venus (2025). Both have since toured international festivals, earning laurels and awards such as the Bronze and People's Lovie Award in the 360° and Virtual Reality category, and Best Music Video at Boundless Film Festival.
Demonstrating VR as a performative medium—Lorna’s creative process has been showcased in prestigious venues such as the Musée Océanographique in Monaco and Google HQ in London, where she has performed live VR art to audiences of more than 400 people.
Lorna’s passion for immersive storytelling was ignited by her research at the University of Leeds, where she explored how immersive and interactive experiences can foster deeper emotional resonance than traditional media. Inspired by the notion that presence and emotion are mutually influential, she continues to craft transportive experiences that engage audiences on a profound level.
